Trevor Robertson

Trevor Robertson began his career in the office at Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 496, Calgary, AB, in September of 2012 as a Field Representative/Organizer. He became the Business Manager in January 2015, selected by his membership for four consecutive terms. He has served on many boards and organizations throughout his career, including as President of the Western Canadian Pipe Trades, President of the Southern Alberta Pipe Trades, Financial Secretary-Treasurer of the Building Trades of Alberta, Chair of the Alberta Joint Training and Apprenticeship Committee for Sprinkler Fitters, and as a Canadian board member for the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.

General President Emeritus William Hite assigned Trevor Robertson to the Pipe Fabrication Institute in 2015, and General President Mark McManus reassigned him to the Institute in 2017. He served on the Resolutions Committee at the 39th General Convention. He was Co-Chair of the Resolutions Committee at the 40th General Convention, co-hosted in his home city of Calgary, AB.

Brother Robertson is a journeyperson plumber with Red Seal Certification. He relocated to Calgary and was sworn in as a member of UA Local 496 in October 2007.
